My response is that I think Barack Obama's speech would influence some americans to put their differences, especially race, aside and treat each other equally while trying to make America an even greater country. Although some people deffinately won't change their ways, I think it would help this country alot is just some disregard race.
I think Obama's family history factors into his view perspective on race in America because he has had family members of many different races which helps him get past the difference of race and sees other people as equals. I thing it would be great if other people viewed race as Obama does and that there is no difference in what nationality you are or what you skin color is and that we are all humans, therefore equals.
